The Secretary Uganda Prisons Council wishes to inform all applicants who responded to the advert for the post of Recruit Warders and Wardresses in Uganda Prisons Service which appeared in the Daily Monitor and New Vision Newspapers on 07th March 2025 and 10th March 2025 respectively that the shortlist has been released and be viewed at all our Regional Headquarters and Uganda Prisons Service Headquarters Noticeboards. The Shortlist can also be viewed at the Uganda Prisons Service Website (https://www.ugandaprisons.go.ug).
A link to the shortlist has also been shared on all our official social media handles including Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram. Candidates will also be contacted by SMS.
Shortlisted candidates are hereby invited to attend both written and oral interviews on the dates and venue as indicated for each district. The interviews will run from Monday 12th May 2025 to Friday 16th May 2025 and shall start at exactly 9:00am on each day.
Only shortlisted candidates should appear on the dates allocated to them to avoid overcrowding at the recruitment centers.
Shortlisted candidates should come along with all their original academic documents and National Identity card as submitted to the Secretary Uganda Prisons Council, a writing pad and a pen.
